Sometimes you just need to display a simple notice, safety reminder, greeting, or announcement. Variabl's Announcements app lets you create beautiful text slides with custom background and font colors directly within the platform.
Step-by-Step Guide to Create Announcements

Open your Playlist
Access your Variabl Dashboard and select your target playlist.

Open the App Chooser
Click on the + New button to view the list of available apps.

Choose Announcements
Select the Announcements option.

Write your Message and Style It
- Title: Enter a prominent header for your slide (e.g., "Welcome Visitors!").
- Message: Type the body text of your announcement. Keep it concise so it is easy to read from a distance.
- Background Color: Use the color picker or enter a hex code to set the background color of your slide.
- Font Color: Select a contrasting text color to ensure maximum readability.

Save your Slide
Click Save to add your custom announcement slide to your digital signage screen rotation.
